Turkey Run State Park Bridge Rehabilitation

Scope of Work:

HIS was contracted with INDOT to rehabilitate an existing bridge in Turkey Run State Park. The work consisted of repairing concrete under the bridge with pneumatic installed mortar and repairing cracks with epoxy injection. HIS also installed geotextile underdrainage along with perforated pipe, realigned the existing structure spandrel wall, and installed a concrete deck. The work was futher complicated by working over a 30ft. by 30ft. ravine, so HIS constructed a work platform under the bridge to assit in the completion of this project.
